Our client is conducting a national search for Medicaid Systems Professional with a background in Technical Project Management or Project Leadership to join their healthcare IT practice on a Consulting or Consulting to Hire Basis.
Project is scheduled to begin on or after May 1, 2006.
Technology skills required for this position include:
* 10+ years experience in C, Unix, SQL/Oracle (all skills)
* Full life cycle development experience in business systems
* Development experience with defined processes (structured walkthroughs) and standards (coding and performance)
* Leadership experience and ability/willingness to mentor peers
* Advanced technical experience that can be leveraged to train and mentor staff, and to solve complex system issues and provide system run-time improvements
* Background that includes development and support of Medicaid, HIPAA, Third Party Liability (TPL), EDI, Co-Insurance, Buy-In
* Data warehouse background is highly desired
Leadership experience to include:
* Previous experience in medium to large scale IT projects, full development life cycle, and presentation skills
* Healthcare or other state government experience
* PMP certified or pursuing certification desired; work experience in organization assessed at CMMI level 2 or higher a plus
* Willingness to travel up to 100%
* Should be highly skilled in work plan management, using MS Project and other reporting type tools, and familiar with measurement and analysis functions; metrics SME knowledge preferred
Pay determination is commensurate with experience. Average hourly rates range from $50-75 an hour and full-time salary range is $85-115K + incentives.
