    Sr. SQL Server DBA in Dallas, TX

    At least 4 years background in MS SQL 2000 database, DTS and SQL stored procedure development.

    Responsibilities:
    The scope of responsibilities includes storage provisioning for a diverse and complex set of server and operating system platforms including IBM (iSeries, pSeries, xSeries), HP (Windows, Linux) and Sun(Solaris). Backup and restore strategies are included as they relate to the central and distributed hospital environment for both disaster recovery needs and archiving purposes. Will participate in design, planning, implementation, enhancement, and changes from small to a large hospital Backup/Recovery environment to meet the business Disaster Recovery requirements. Candidate must possess strong organizational, communication, project management, and documentation skills. Disaster Recovery testing experience is a must.

    Key Responsibilities include:
    Ensure compliance with all client and regulatory administrative procedures.
    Perform analysis of disaster recovery functions for the Mainframe used by the Client Operations Centers
    Ensure that the processes and the documentation for disaster recovery are understandable, complete, and usable by non-Operations Center personnel.

    Qualifications:
