POSITION SUMMARY


Our client is currently seeking a Full-Time Project Leader/Lead Analyst to work in Dallas, Texas with the Information Technology Sector.


The Lead Systems Analyst will develop and support Document Custody applications. This role involves teamwork with the Trust Product Management, Operations & Application Development communities at all levels within the firm. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts and team members to analyze business requirements and outline the proposed IT solution; design reviews and provide input to the design recommendations; incorporate security requirements into design and provide input to information/dataflow and understand and comply with Software Development Life Cycle Methodology in all planning steps.




Additionally your will: Provide ongoing support of production applications at agreed service levels; Proactively identify opportunities for change within the production environment; Interact with middle office groups to determine data, performance and other issues related to this application; Document the detailed application specifications; Translate technical requirements into programmed application modules and develop/enhance software application modules; Adhere to IT Control Policies throughout design, development and testing and incorporate Corporate Architectural Standards into application design specifications; Ensure the appropriate levels of Quality Assurance have been met for all new and existing products; Participate in on-call rotation and support occasional week-end and after hours implementations.




TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:


o Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline with a higher degree preferred

o 4+ Years experience in computing, application development, architecture and/or client/server n-tier application experience required

o Solid application design, coding, testing, maintenance and debugging experience in Visual Basic, VB.NET, Crystal Reports, SQL scripting & MS-Access coding with VBA/ADO

o Knowledge of Change Management controls and procedures

o Document Custody or Mortgage industry experience preferred

    Technical Lead in Dallas, TX

    The Java Support Technical Lead is responsible for managing and providing leadership for day-to-day responsibilities of other support personnel. The position has responsibilities for analyzing, designing, developing, supporting and maintaining Internet, Intranet and Extranet solutions that support the association's overarching strategies utilizing knowledge of and skills associated with development technologies.

    . Manages the day to day operations of web support staff
    . Provides leadership and mentoring to support staff to ensure that technology solutions are delivered in a standard and high quality manner
    . Participates in resource management of support staff and estimation of development efforts in conjunction with management
    . Designs, writes code, completes programming, debugging and system/applications testing for the association's web applications
    . Provides debugging, testing, and technical support for existing Web solutions utilizing web technologies and databases
    . Provides debugging, system testing and technical support for Java based technologies associated with ATG Dynamo Commerce Suite and Eprise Participant Server applications
    . Provides analysis and development of databases including base definition, structures, documentation, operational guidelines, and protection
    . Provides technical expertise and consultation to TCS and business partners
    . Knowledge of PC and Macintosh computer platforms
    . Excellent written and oral communication skills

    Experience: . B. A./B. Sc. Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
    . 3 to 5 years demonstrated experience in Web development utilizing Java based technologies such as Java, J2EE, EJB, JSP, JHTML, and XML, JavaScript
    . 3 to 5 years demonstrated experience in Relational Database Management Systems and Administration with Oracle experience preferred
    . Experience in Unix/Solaris environment
    . Strong analytical and problem solving skills
    . 1 to 2 years demonstrated experience in ATG (DAS, DPS, DSS, Portal, Ecommerce)
