BASIC FUNCTION: Manages projects and executes the processes and methodologies used for performance management and construction of analytical models to forecast future resource requirements for all computing and network infrastructures in the JCPenney Co. II. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Identifies quantifiable system and application inefficiencies that recover hardware resources and/or improve overall performance. Follows up on remediation efforts. Manages the design, development, testing, and installation of new capacity planning and performance management tools and methodologies. 7. Identifies and remains current on changing capacity planning and performance management tools and methodologies, and ensures a high level of technical expertise and business awareness. 8. Analyzes, evaluates and issues results of all hardware upgrades and system changes quantifying impact to capacity throughput and performance. III. KEY RELATIONSHIPS: 1. Works closely with application and systems support staffs to ensure adequate resources are available to support the business. 2.
