As a member of IS Group, NAOps and Shared Services, the Oracle Applications Technical Lead will assume a key role in the design, structure, efficiency, technical lead and support of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions. The Software Engineer will provide and review design, maintenance and evolutions on existing and future solutions, will assure proper knowledge transfer to appropriate teams, and will participate in all business projects concerning their area of the business operation.
He/She will represent his/her department towards the project and development teams, producing technical design and set up, supporting development and ensuring technical customizations (ERP framework level).

Build and maintain a proactive partnership with external vendors, including management of contractors.
Third level of support (on-call duty) for ERP-related issues.

You will act as the Interface Support Specialist and have primary responsibility for the troubleshooting of Quovadx/Cloverleaf healthcare data interfaces and the interaction of those interfaces with web based applications. You should be able to problem solve complex interface problems. You will work with the staff involved in the development and programming of HL7 and XML interfaces between Customers and Desktop Solutions. The position has the responsibility to assist in the diagnoses and resolution of issues that arise within Desktop Solution production environments. The position will address interface issues as identified by the Production Support Team. Experience: . Knowledge and understanding of the HL7 Standard, the variations that can differ between vendors, and what constitutes allowable and invalid local variations. Understanding of additional standard messaging structures (ASCII/ISO 8859-1) as well as communication protocols; . Knowledge and understanding of the types of data used in the healthcare industry. Key to understanding the HL7 protocol is the type of data that is the content of HL7 messages; . Knowledge and Experience with other data interchange formats.
