Functional PeopleSoft Expense SME in Dallas, TX

CrossWay Group, Inc. has the following contract requirement: Our end client will be conducting an upgrade of our PeopleSoft Expense (Financials) system from version 8.0 to 9.0. In conducting this upgrade, Client has determined that it has a need for a qualified FUNCTIONAL PeopleSoft consultant for an 4-5 month engagement. The resource will be responsible for "fit-gap"/requirements definition and facilitation, system setup and configuration, and system/user testing in conjunction with internal functional resources. Have at least 5 years of experiences in VB.NET or C#

Have at least 7 years of experiences in performing application architecture work as an application architect in a leadership role

Have at least 7 years of experiences in multi-threaded coding, advanced Win32API skills, and 24 by 7 availability support

Have at least 5 years of experiences in DBA performance tuning for MS SQL

Knowledge and experience with object-oriented design and implementation

Ability to recognize and implement common design patterns

Ability to design and implement appropriate infrastructures to support cross platform and cross database environments, provide scalability and two-node implementation

Ability to quickly and accurately perform troubleshooting and repair of existing applications

Ability to function as technical lead analyst to guide a small team of developers

Senior Business Intelligence Liason for Large International Company! in Dallas, TX

This Dallas-Fort Worth based company is a leader in the marketplace and is seeking a senior Business Intelligence Liaison for their Hyperion environment. The Business Intelligence Liaison is the key focal point between senior executives, directors, managers for this business intelligence initiative. You will oversee the overall Business Intelligence infrastructure, backbone, and technical specifications for the enterprise's business intelligence reporting strategy. Candidate must be skilled in Inmon, and Kimball methodologies, with implementation experience. As the Business Intelligence Liaison, candidate will be responsible for all business and technical specifications needed to successfully implement this project!

Candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills and work well with the technical and business communities to understand and deliver projects that increase the value of the Client's assets. This person must be a self-starter in initiating project and process improvements and may take part in researching best practices, new tools and technology, and implementing automated test processes across the data warehouse.

Responsibilities:

* Able to quickly gain creditability with C-level executives, directors, senior managers, and analysts by understanding their business drivers

* Gather, analyze, and transform business requirements into business intelligence reporting specifications.

* Utilized the existing logical, physical, and build star schema data models with business subject matter experts.

* Assist Business Intelligence team in transitioning to database schemas from logical data models into a Business intelligence implementation.

* Define and enforce standards and conventions (definition, naming, abbreviation)

* Support project teams on an ad-hoc, as required basis.

Minimum Skills:

* Overall Business Intelligence technical architecture and infrastructure;

* Minimum 5 years experience in a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or Business Liaison role;

* Skilled in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing methodologies, concepts, and implementations;

* Knowledge of Financial applications particularly planning, budgeting, consolidations, and global chart of accounts;

* Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle Applications, JDE, etc)

* Excellent Business Intelligence experience for large-scale applications;

* Demonstration of Project Liaison with both business community and IST teams during requirements gathering, data analysis

* Strong background in structured systems and data analysis;

* Demonstrated ability with JAD and RAD methodologies;

* Expertise in relational database design (normalized and dimensional);

* Proficient with MS Office suite

Desired:

- Experienced working with an Enterprise Integration project(s)

- Strong infrastructure and implementation experience (installation, configuration, upgrades, and standards definition)'

- Experience creating and customizing complex business intelligence solutions based on data warehouse environments

- Knowledge of Unix a plus

- Familiarity with other OLAP tools a plus!

Educational Skills

- BS or BA required, MBA Preferred
