OVERVIEW
Certified Deployment Engineers provide installation and customization services in the deployment of the PGP Product Platform. They work on direct item tasks and manage projects that have been sold to customers to guarantee a successful deployment and thus reduce the time to install.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide for the deployment of PGP Corporation Platform based products
Ensure client needs are met and deliverables produced on time according to specified project deliverables/scope.
Assist team members with troubleshooting or escalation of issues.
Ability to document and template necessary documentation packages for customers as defined.
Ability to work on a team or lead a team depending upon the specified project.

Essential Job Functions
As a manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple development leads to ensure adherence to Clients software development lifecycle. This means solving technology problems as they arise while balancing the compliance to our standards and frameworks.
Oversee the technical design of multiple web-based and smart client software applications
Manage the development leads on multiple projects to ensure compliance to the technical design and architecture standards
Enforce the change management process with the development leads. Ensure technical leads enforce change management to prevent scope creep from impacting projects
Manage the code review process with the technical leads, in some cases perform code reviews yourself
Work with Senior Architects to ensure compliance with the overall Enterprise Architecture and collaborate on opportunities for improvement
Make design decisions for implementations of technology standards and frameworks with little supervision
Motivate your teams and educate the technology leads on how to motivate their developers

OVERVIEW
Certified Deployment Engineers provide installation and customization services in the deployment of the PGP Product Platform. They work on direct item tasks and manage projects that have been sold to customers to guarantee a successful deployment and thus reduce the time to install.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide for the deployment of PGP Corporation Platform based products
Ensure client needs are met and deliverables produced on time according to specified project deliverables/scope.
Assist team members with troubleshooting or escalation of issues.
Ability to document and template necessary documentation packages for customers as defined.
Ability to work on a team or lead a team depending upon the specified project.
Ability to provide complex solutions in customer environments and execute/document said solutions by self or as a team leader.
Other tasks and duties as needed to support the customer and/or business.
WORK EXPERIENCE
At least five years demonstrated expertise in a specialized IT discipline, such as software engineering or network operations/engineering. At least 1 year in a recognized leadership role.
At least two years of Security / PKI Experience
Strong SMTP Messaging Background including but not limited to Content Filters, MTAs, Exchange, Groupwise and Lotus Notes.
Strong Infrastructure Background, including but not limited to Networking, Switching, and Firewalls
MS Project or similar tool
Scripting Experience - Perl/VB
Database Administration (junior)
Demonstrated project leadership experience.
