This position will be responsible for managing and maintaining existing, future and co-location data centers globally. Network Engineer in Dallas, TX
The ideal candidate would have 2 - 3 years experience supporting Network and VoIP networks in a complex environment. This position will involve the support of a growing International Cisco Wide Area Network and all components within the numerous Local Area Networks that are connected.

Responsibilities
Our Client's network is a fully converged voice and data network that consists of over 180 Cisco devices (routers, switches, firewalls, access points and VPN devices) with over 2000 network ports, Juniper WAN acceleration devices and Avaya IP PBXs spread out over 7 locations throughout the globe.
The position will include support, installation and implementation of Network components throughout the client's network. As this is primarily a Cisco network, extensive Cisco IOS configuration experience is required.
The successful candidate will be expected to perform upgrades and configuration changes to Cisco network devices including switches, routers, firewalls and access points. The position will also include day to day support and resolution of network related problems.
Interaction with other groups within IT and Development and 3rd part Vendors including Bloomberg, Reuters and Telco's to resolve problems will be also be required.
Proactive monitoring of network health and the resolution of any issues before they cause outages will be a major component of this position.
Other duties include:
Maintaining Network Management Systems and applications.
Implementation of new technologies and products.
Supporting Client's International network (expected to share in the support duties 24 x 7).
Required Job Skills
