Business Systems Analyst with professional experience to support operations for a web-based suite of applications and eventually a business leadership role. A minimum of 5+ years combined experience in Business Analysis and Software Testing is preferred. This position will be responsible for multiple facets of web application development and support. Candidate needs to possess a strong ability to troubleshoot issues, problem solve, and multi-task.

In this role the consultant will join a staff of 3-4 system analysts and 1-2 part-time QA Analysts who develop, maintain, and support in-house applications. The current development effort is focused on a line-of-business, client/server (WinForms) application written in C# with a SQL 2005 backend. The QA Analyst will design and execute software test plans, document test results, prepare end user product documentation and assume some responsibility for end user support and training. QA Analyst will be expected to learn the role of the Business Analyst in the organization in order to be more effective at designing test cases and may also mentor Business Analysts/part-time QA resources.

Experience: In order to qualify for this position the candidate must have:
• BS in Computer Science or related discipline, with at least 3 years QA experience in the Windows environment.
• Must have experience developing and executing test plans using an automated testing tool, such as WinRunner or QTP.
• Must be highly organized and thorough in designing test cases and documenting results.
Non-technical requirements include team-player attitude, effective communication skills, and attention to detail. Must be self-motivated, high-energy, and driven to produce results and meet deadlines; team player with strong collaboration skills (willing to learn from and exchange ideas with others); an effective communicator, who works well under pressure; and must have a good self image, positive attitude, and highly professional demeanor. Available to work evenings and weekends as required.

The client has one of the largest Sharepoint environments in the world- with over 15,000 instances currently being supported by this group. Recently moved to Sharepoint 2007 which is causing a lot of stabilization and performance problems that you will be responsible for mimimizing and solving. THIS IS NOT A DEVELOPER ROLE.
