This position supports DB2 as a product on the mainframe (installs, updates, maintains). ur client is hiring new Information Technology professionals into their Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) development effort. Members of this team consist of individuals who take initiative and demonstrate resourcefulness, innovation, urgency, and passion. We have a need for a Quality Assurance Lead Engineer who enjoys working in a close team environment and looks for creative and better ways to be successful.
The EDW Quality Assurance Lead Engineer must be a self-starter in initiating project and process improvements and may take part in researching best practices, new tools and technology, and implementing automated test processes across the warehouse. Candidate should have excellent written and oral communication skills and work well with the technical and business communities to understand and deliver projects that increase the value of the Client's assets.
Incumbent will be responsible for supporting projects with specific hands-on QA testing as well as developing our long term QA strategy for our data warehouse. The candidate should have 4-5 years related experience in data warehousing testing, be familiar with writing and evaluating complex SQL, have a strong understanding of application development lifecycles, and have a good understanding of data warehouse concepts and techniques. The Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for identifying software defects and validating problem resolution through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply and maintain quality standards for EDW products.

Accountabilities & Duties:
- Ability to lead and demonstrate solid testing methodologies and team members
- Develops acceptance criteria to address needs of the delivery project team and the customer to ensure successful implementation.
- Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Develops and executes software master test plans and test scripts.
- Provides technical consultation on automation methods, tools and processes.
- Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of EDW and associated applications.

- Analyzes and reports test results to ensure quality of existing data/functionality for EDW.

- Works with programmers and business analysts in the development and implementation of system test plans and unit test scripts for software testing.

- Responsible for consolidation of test results, procedures.
Specific Roles & Responsibilities:
. Map test cases to application, technical or functional based requirements
. Summarize test pass execution against builds or releases
. Attend any project meetings and discuss findings during testing
. Write detailed test cases with reusability as a goal for the test case
. Execute test cases as determined by the QA lead or by the project team

. Assist in post production implementation testing during company maintenance windows
. Training fellow QA staff members on application changes
. Attend QA staff meetings
. Lead a team of Testers and own overall quality of a feature set.
. Work with other Test Engineers to insure overall test coverage.
. Work with developers/program manager to learn a feature's requirements.
. Review code to develop tests.
. Act as the primary technical resource for the Test team.
. Mentor junior members of the Test team.
. Develop and maintain test plans based on requirements, specifications, documentation, and white board sessions.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:
-Excellent problem solving skills, logical process thinking and end-to-end system concepts.

-Knowledge of industry test standards and automated tools and methods that facilitate testing of software, load, performance, stress and capacity.

-Knowledge of data warehousing and complex SQL.

Our client is in need of a consultant who has been in a lead role deploying MOSS 2007 in a 64-bit environment. This consultant will work to deploy Sharepoint in a production environment and conduct knowledge transfer to full time employees.

Must have configured and installed both ISA servers and MOSS; Understand Active Directory; Be able to set up clustered environment for Windows Server 2003 and SQL Server 2005.

TSM Engineer (Tivoli Storage) in Dallas, TX

The IBM TSM (Tivoli Storage Manager) Administrator is responsible for the daily administration of the IBM TSM backup infrastructure. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for performing daily backups of the following systems; Microsoft Windows and Various UNIX Platforms. Perform data recovery of systems and end user data as necessary. This position will also support the migration of backup technologies between platforms.

The Backup Team is a fast paced team supporting ACS's dynamic backup environments. The ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys assisting corporate uses, developing new skills, and working with a broad array of technologies.

Major Responsibilities

1. Perform daily backups, data recovery, and all associated reporting.

2. Install configure, and maintain storage hardware and software systems as appropriate.

3. Understand general disaster recovery and business continuity practices.

4. Perform on-call rotation and duties.

Education/Skills/Experience Required:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required

Requires at least 5 years experience in Storage Management with technical knowledge in the following:

o IBM TSM 5.x. Symantec NetBackup, Symantec BackupExec, or HP Data Protector experience a plus.

o In depth understanding of the AIX platform.

o Basic knowledge of networking technologies.

o Storage networking technologies related to Storage Area Networks, to include fibre channel.

Knowledge of HP-UX, AIX, Solaris, Windows 2000, Windows Server 2003, and Linux operating systems is desired.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and VISIO

Should have knowledge of service ticket requests. i.e. Peregrine, Remedy, etc...

Perl Scripting is a plus

POSITION SUMMARY:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Overall experience should cover all areas of project lifecycle, from inception through production launch and maintenance.

Ø Preferred requirements include a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and/or in-depth applied industry experience

Ø Possess thorough understanding of engagement management lifecycles relative to all development and delivery systems and potential integration with third party products

Ø Possess strong written and verbal communication skills and a strong history of effective team building
