Position Responsibilities:

The position will be a hands-on combination of JD Edwards CNC Administration role to support current EnterpriseOne 8.0 environment with a pending upgrade project to the 8.12 release during 2008.



Candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, management, and other activities related to the JD Edward EnterpriseOne system. They will administer and maintain JDE environments; fully utilize CNC administration tools; application development components; applying release upgrades, updates, service packs and ESUs; performing package builds; OMW configurations; and server administration including familiarity with Enterprise Servers, Application Servers, and JAS Servers. Position will also include security administration, Reporting and Testing. They also will be involved in developing procedures and troubleshooting guidelines as appropriate.



Candidate will also assist in application development projects using the JD Edwards toolset to help create/modify/enhance custom applications, reports, and interfaces as defined by the business operations. Create and/or maintain support documentation including system documentation.



Required Skills:

  • 4+ years relevant experience in a hands-on CNC role with focus in Windows/Intel/SQL Server environments and JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 8.0 or higher level environments.

  • Experience performing all CNC tasks with understanding of high availability, JDE data source tables, OCM tables, update packages, JDE user profiles & security, and system problem detection & determination.



    Desired Skills:

  • Experience with the JD Edwards development toolset developing and troubleshooting custom applications, reports, and interfaces.

  • Experience in the administration of Windows Server 2000/2003 operating systems and client-server operations. Knowledge of Windows Server 2003 is preferred.

  • Experience in the administration and support of SQL Server or Oracle database systems.

  • The ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users.
