? Oracle database administration using SAPDBA and Oracle tools or equivalent work on another database platform with SAP
? Support of SAP on UNIX platforms (Sun and HP preferred)
? Performed SAP System copy (database copy) and SAP client copy
? Implementation and operation of a SAP backup and recovery strategy
? SAP performance troubleshooting and tuning
? Setting/tuning SAP parameters including memory management
? Installation and support of the SAPGUI
? Set up and support of SAP printers

Our client is seeking a Data Warehouse Engineer who will be responsible for the design, development, support, and maintenance of enterprise database application used throughout the organization. The Data Warehouse Engineer will be responsible for the ongoing support of new enterprise data warehouse, be continually developing and enhancing the data warehouse, implement new data marts and business intelligence solutions, automation of daily data extracts and external system feeds, development of reports, and general database administration. The Data Warehouse Engineer must be a team player, a flexible self-starter that takes direction well and "runs with it." Must have the confidence to work independently. The Data Warehouse Engineer position requires a highly motivated individual with solid experience implementing enterprise data warehouse, business intelligence, and report delivery solutions. The Data Warehouse Engineer must have strong communication skills, both orally and written; along with the ability to apply data warehouse architecture theories and concepts in order to create solutions for the business to access critical information.
