Provides tuning on various applications and database environments to build, maintain, and modify the infrastructure for application operability. Handles installation, release upgrades, security, validation checks, corrections, production migration support, and transports. Maintains and provides infrastructure improvements to existing database applications. Education: BS degree in computer science/related discipline or equivalent experience. Experience: 4 years of application administration experience Knowledge/Skills: Detailed knowledge of specified application database, network, and system performance configuration and tuning techniques. Thorough understanding of specified applications customizing toolsetMinimum Requirements:Reason: The Application Administrator position supports organizational performance through the administration and maintenance of Autonomy's Qfiniti eTalk (currently named Qfiniti Advise) solution. We have installed Autonomy/Qfiniti's eTalk application and have screen and voice recording issues. The person in this position works in collaboration with the Manager of Organizational Effectiveness, operations stakeholders, and quality assurance specialists to analyze the application performance needs, design and develop maintenance solutions, and work with Autonomy's support desk to resolve issues. Work Activities: Works with Autonomy's Qfiniti eTalk application Reviews application design, infrastructure settings, current usage and provides recommendations to resolve issues Partners with vendor to implement proposed solutions to meet the business needs. Provides tuning on various applications and database environments to build, maintain, and modify the infrastructure for application operability.
