Our health care client has an excellent opportunity for a Programmer/Systems Analyst III The Midas Implementation Programmer assists in the design, implementation, training, and maintenance of the MIDAS+, Interqual, Crimson, and Med Mined applications. Analyzes, documents, and designs work and data flows. Provides technical support and training to end-users. Acts as a point of contact for end-user training for all facilities. Possesses expert working knowledge of the MIDAS+ software. Provides facilities with support and guidance for overall system implementation. Collaborates with Midas+ user groups - including Risk Management, Quality Management, Core Measure Abstractors, Care Coordination, Infection Control - to assure timely data collection, submission, and integrity in compliance with regulatory requirements, and to maximize the use of the application. Responsible for overall day to day support for MIDAS+ vial help tickets, telephonic requests and e-mails. Serves as a technical recourse for MIDAS+ application. Demonstrates expertise in problem solving of MIDAS+ issues. Provides Midas+ training for BHCS facilities. Coordinates and facilitates this testing and implementation; motivating and steering teams forward. Monitors interfaces for failed transactions and troubleshoot as necessary. Maintains documentation of new and existing interfaces, incorporating changes as needed. Creates documentation and maintenance procedures for continued support of interfaces. Participates in 24X7 on call rotation. Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) in one of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Information Management, or related field in order to provide technical expertise to customers. 5+ years of experiencet feasibility studies, coordinate service level agreement, and review progress of projects and support of information systems. Candidate should have an intermediate understanding of and experience with the monitoring and the analysis of Firewall logs, router logs, syslogs, and network/host-based Intrusion Detection/ Prevention systems (IDS/IPS), SNORT is preferred. Candidate should have experience with the tuning of IDS/IPS, firewall ACL’s and rule sets. Candidate should have experience with VLANs, SPANs and RSPANs on network devices.
