TECHNICAL WRITER-SWA Maintenance Dept in Dallas, TX
SWA will be hiring a Technical Writer with the following skills:
Candidate should have Aviation/Maintenance industry experience. Will be proof reading documents, checking facts, reviewing maintenance task card etc. Should have solid Technical Writer/editor background.with Framemaker experience a plus. Would prefer that the candidate have a air frame and power certification but will consider any candidate with the industry experience. Must have ATA standards experience.
Technical Skills (i.e., language, database, applications, software, hardware, certifications etc.)
Experence in writing user guide documentation
Should have intermediate Framemaker skills and have some experience with SGML. Will be modifying existing Aircraft maintenance documents.
Strong english written and verbal communication skills
Ability to quickly develop an understanding of the business, including its functions, technical landscape, and priorities
Ability to complete tasks on time and able to follow detailed instructions.
Experience with FAA style documentation a plus.
Experience with the airline industry a plus.
