Systems Administrator in Dallas, TX
Our fortune 500 company is seeking a Systems Administrator to support our Windows Server and PC environment at both the corporate headquarters and multiple field locations. Candidate will need 3+ years of hands-on installation, configuration, design and problem determination and resolution within a predominately Microsoft environment. This position will be the point person for all support issues for the computing environment and for the companys general information technology needs.
Provide support for corporate and field locations for both hardware and software/application related issues
Develop and maintain network server configurations (Windows 2000/2003)
Implement and administer corporate hosted system and network monitoring tools to support the enterprise computing environment
Diagnose, troubleshoot and escalate hardware and software problems, as well as system and peripheral related issues
Administer and maintain end user accounts, permissions, and access rights
Monitor and test server software performance and provide statistics and
reports
Recommend, schedule, and perform software improvements, upgrades, and/or purchases
Provide on-call assignment (24x7) support as needed during business
emergencies
Must have strong troubleshooting skills and in-depth knowledge of multi-site, mixed technology enterprise environments
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
3-4 years experience in an information technology role required.
Bachelors degree preferred
MCSE certification a strong plus
3+ years Windows 2000/2003
Must be proficient in Active Directory, IIS, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP
Experience with MS Exchange and Share point a strong plus
Cisco and/or networking knowledge and experience a plus
Basic project management skills
Ability to follow through on tasks from start to finish with minimal direct supervision
Solid troubleshooting and analytical skills and the ability to reach innovative solutions quickly
Must work well under pressure and tight deadlines

Our client is seeking an Oracle Financials SME on a permanent basis for a location in Dallas, TX. This Business Analyst / Subject Matter Expert will support the Oracle Financial Systems. This is a full time position that works closely with the Information Systems department and the Accounting department. For this position, you will support end-users by training them and solving any problems they may have.
Your responsibilities will include:

·Resolving cross-functional issues
·Testing of patches and upgrades
·Training and documenting processes
·Managing technical assistance requests (TAR) with Oracle
·Performing set-ups for all needed changes to Oracle
·Create and change/modify FSG Reports
·Update budgets as needed and create/update budget templates
·Provide ad hoc reports analysis as needed
·Vendor 1099 processing and reporting
·Provide around the clock support to users during close process (Many journal import issues)
·Knowledge of importing Fixed Assets and GL balances into Oracle for acquisitions.
·Update/modify journal mapping table for Ceridian.
·Create audit files with journal details that tie to the Trial Balance Reports.
