Asset Implementation Manager in Dallas, TX

Implements asset management processes and tools for assigned clients. This role will be for a strong seasoned professional, who possesses a comprehensive knowledge of IT asset management practices, and procedures and project management experience. The incumbent will plan, organize, direct and control day-to-day activities of the assigned IT asset management transition project to ensure quality and consistency in service delivery and accomplishment of goals laid out in the project plan. The individual will develop project plans, schedules, communication plans, scope change documents, coordinating resources, and managing day-to-day tasks to complete the transition on time per the MS Project schedule. Documenting project and IT asset management processes utilized for the procedure manual is necessary. Assisting with the setup of asset reporting is also needed. This individual will act as the point of contact for other client and internal departments to resolve problems regarding project support and as in-house consultant. May coordinate with management to, select and supervise training of new employees for project management or Asset Management functions.

    Network Capacity Plan and Performance Specialist in Dallas, TX

    The main goal of EPMF is to save money by correctly sizing infrastructure resources to provide required application performance at the JCPenney Company. EPMF relates business plans to technical resource utilization to develop utilization and performance forecasts. EPMF conducts monthly and ad hoc appraisals of forecast versus observed results to locate ROI enhancement opportunities and improve performance. EPMF participates in the evaluation, design, development and testing of Network and Application technology.

    EPMF Network implements the processes and methodologies to forecast network resource and performance requirements.


    Position Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide forecasts of network bandwidth requirements and application performance based on high level business forecasts. Perform follow up analysis to verify network utilization and application performance.

  • Perform analysis, diagnostics and problem determination. Work from high level requirements to do detailed analysis. Analyze network utilization and application communication data to resolve bandwidth and response time issues. Use abstract and technical measurement and data analysis to investigate, troubleshoot, and solve problems using numeric and graphical facts. Correlate, coordinate and interpret information from diverse sources. Document and follow up on resolutions based on understanding the issues, risks and clients needs.

  • Respond to production problems. Manage resolution of problems and escalate as required. Perform predictive, proactive root cause analysis. Research and recommend alternative actions for problem resolution with minimal direction. Analyze trends to proactively prevent problems.

  • Maintain tools required for network monitoring. Provision, install, and update NetQoS Windows based software and equipment.

  • Assist in the development of tools to improve our team's ability to process data.

  • Work with the Network Management team on the development of proactive network monitoring techniques.

  • Learn new technologies and how to apply them.
    Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 years experience in network management, configuration, capacity planning, or performance analysis.

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business and/or layman's terms.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.

  • Self-motivated with a sense of urgency and ability to multi-task.

  • Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to work well on cross-functional project teams and foster team commitment to tasks.

  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environment to meet business requirements.

  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills. Familiar with the Microsoft Office suite.

  • BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or other area, or equivalent professional experience
