    Seeking Sun Solaris Field Engineers as follows: - LOCATIONS: DALLAS, TX OR WILLING TO RELOCATE. . . - Full Time Salaried REQUIREMENTS: - 2 years minimum field service experience in Sun Microsystems hardware maintenance and troubleshooting with knowledge/exposure in the latest Sun hardware. - Minimum of 2 years experience in Sun Solaris OS. - Required hardware experience with a high degree of Sun hardware skills including Sun Enterprise E10K or SunFire E15K or e20k or e25k. - Drivers license with reliable transportation and ability to travel inside and/or outside of local serve area if needed. - Responsibilities include providing system support on SUN Microsystems hardware. - Service responsibility includes installation, diagnostics, hardware troubleshooting and repair with other system administrators in a Solaris environment. - Provide system support working on SUN Microsystems hardware including enterprise servers, SUN Sparcs, Ultra's and disk storage arrays. - Will troubleshoot, remove, replace components and subcomponents as needed. - Install hardware platform and peripherals - Will run diagnostics and Sun VTS - Provide Solaris set and change permissions, modify files, network commands as well as add and configure users - Sun Solaris System Administration 1 certified.
