Architect Replication/Business Continuity - Open Systems - Arch HDS B in Dallas, TX

Open Systems Replication/Business Continuity - HDS Storage Level IV Consultant - Architecture Consultant Requires up to 75%-100% Travel as needed across the US.The B/C Architect Consultant will be responsible for leading customers through the deployment of HDS storage replication technologies including implementation, deployment, customization, and training. Specifically, candidates for this position should have experience designing, deploying, educating, and integrating with local and distance storage replication software from HDS or other storage vendors. Experience designing complex replication environments Experience analyzing customer workloads and determine peaks, rolling averages, and interval workloads Experience presenting complicated technical topics to business leaders Self motivated - proven track record of working well with multiple concurrent work streams 10 years in information technology 7 years current experience with HDS technologies Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to write project status reports, management escalation documentation, and service planning and definition information Strong technical background in the areas of data storage and replication Enterprise storage management Solid operating systems skills with storage configuration (volume management) Able to read, modify and implement scripts (Shell, VBScript, Perl, etc) Knowledge of local storage replication products (HDS-ShadowImage and Copy-on-Write using the GUI and CCI a must; EMC-TimeFinder, HP-Business Continuity, IBM-FlashCopy a plus) Knowledge of remote storage replication products (HDS-Universal Replicator and TrueCopy using the GUI and CCI a must; EMC-SRDF, HP-Continuous Access, IBM-PPRC a plus) 5 years experience working and supporting large enterprises in the areas of storage and storage management Proven ability to provide oversight and leadership to project teams in service delivery Demonstrated ability to guide a complex project from inception through delivery and completion Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including Fibre Channel and TCP/IP Able to create complex functionality using scripts (Shell, VBScript, Perl, etc) Knowledge of advanced storage replication (VSS/VDI integration, VMWare Site Recovery Manager, stretch/geo clustering, advanced application integration) Strong group presentation skills and experience providing training to customers. ERP Systems Trainer in Dallas, TX

Job Title: ERP Systems Trainer Reports To: Deployment Business Lead Type: Long Term OpportunityLocation: TX, DallasCompensation: $800 Day when Training / $400 Day when traveling. PURPOSE The Trainer will tailor training materials for the specific sites and wave and then conduct instructor led training classes across a broad range of subjects to prepare site personnel for the processes and software. Training will be conducted in the local area of the wave's cutover sites. The Trainer will be trained on the processes and software by members of the development and deployment teams. The Trainers will then remain in place as a core training team after deployment to meet on-going training needs.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES in order of importance.
