    OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY:

    This team is responsible for:

    Summary:


    - The role of the testing analyst (TA) is to provide in depth testing of off the shelf and developed software solutions.

    - The TA will design and conduct operational, functional, and performance tests on system software prior to its release to production.

    - The TA will coordinate with Business Analysts and Developers to understand the overall functions of the software being tested and the results to be achieved.




    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



    Writes the test plan for a project, and coordinates phases of the tests.

    Writes and executes individual test cases.

    Analyzes and interprets test data, and writes test results and coverage reports.

    Participates in test plan and case reviews.

    Confers with development and technical associates to resolve problems identified during the testing process.

    Keeps abreast of current and emerging technologies to maintain skill levels necessary to provide quality service to customers.

    Leverage knowledge of application expertise with team members.

    Performs other related duties as required.

    Determines conditions under which tests are to be conducted, and phases of test operations.
