The primary responsibility is focused on the Supporting Corporate site in Dallas, Texas and ITO remote locations. The position is very important to Desktop department.
There are five main functions of the job:
1.) Building the PC images on all laptops and desktop for a division of ACS Corporate network
2.) Working with hardware and software vendors to resolve complex issues.
3.) Third level tech support for the Desktop Tech
4.) Works on remote users hardware issues.
5.) Works with Release and Change Management Process to comply with Corporate Policy

Proposes and implements system enhancements (software and hardware updates) that will improve the performance and reliability of the system.
Designs, analyzes, plans, and modifies network components supporting customer communication implementation activities.
Develops and evaluates network performance criteria and measurement methods.
Prepares the analysis of the capacity needs for switching, routing transmission and signaling.
Conducts network architecture design, feasibility and cost studies.

This position will work in the Office of the Chief Information Security Officer and interface with security subject matter experts to assist in the production of policy and procedure documentation, awareness and education training materials, as well as craft technical reports, brochures and/or manuals, both of a printed and electronic nature for internal release and/or publication.
