Our Downtown Dallas law firm client is seeking an individual to provide a high level of professionalism and technical support.



Specifically responsible for desktop support on all firm software, including extensive knowledge of the following: Outlook, MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Filesite, Summation, Access, CMS Billing Software and Windows XP.

Individual will be working with attorneys and staff in a fast paced environment, providing professional assistance with hardware, software, printing and network troubleshooting.

Candidate will also conduct training classes for new and existing employees on Firm applications.

NOC Technician in DALLAS, TX

Description:
Monitors operations of Data Center and related systems and respond to alarms that arise. Responds to requests / tickets sent to IT Operations. Duties:

- Report to IT Operations Manager any monitoring trends that indicate a need to adjust a system’s monitoring parameters or modify its infrastructure
- Provides IT Operations & Infrastructure management & other IT groups with reports to assist in order to maintain determined SLA/quality standards and for proactive planning.
- Manages print queues, routine data loads/extracts, etc.
- Run routine reports.
- Communicates scheduled and unscheduled network / systems outages to appropriate groups
- Provide support to IT Operations Manager and Operations & Infrastructure group as needed
- Provide IT Operations Manager with periodic reports & briefings on systems availability using monitoring system tools.
- Required to participate in after hours “on call” function

Job Summary:



The LMR System Technologist - Radio Template Design Specialist is responsible for working with radio system end users and System Engineers to determine needs, gather and document necessary information, and create fleet maps, radio templates, and code plugs. This could include conventional, trunked, and data radios as well as dispatch consoles.



Based on project loadingm, this LMR System Technologist will also be responsible for scheduling and staffing, logistics, material coordination, installation, commissioining, integration, and troubleshooting of LMR radio networks, including all command and control equipment. The LMR System Technologist will also be responsible for updates and upgrades to the LMR networks/systems, as well as all operations and maintenance activities. Senior LMR Technologists will also lead technician teams on major projects, and will also be responsible for on-the-job training of lower level technicians.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

? Provide collection, analysis, and evaluation of radio and console programming information.

? Design of fleetmaps, radio templates, and codeplugs.

? Maintain current knowledge of radio products and communications, data, and dispatch systems for major equipment suppliers.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

? Lead technologist/technician teams and provide installation, commissioning, integration, and troubleshooting of LMR radio networks.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

. 3+ years experience programming and creating codeplugs for Motorola trunked radios with CPS/RSS software

You should be experienced in analyzing, defining, and documenting data requirements, and reporting needs from existing OLTP applications. You should also be able to identify and define data sourcing, business rules, and transformation logic for next phases of the Project.

Key Objectives:
-- Perform day-to-day Business Intelligence analysis, design, and programming functions.
-- Implement the strategic plan for support of future company information requirements.
-- Create reports and reporting environments of data from legacy applications into the EDW environment.
-- Programming in Oracle SQL to perform the data query functions.
-- Perform the day-to-day monitoring, apply upgrades, and system patches to the enterprise data warehouse environment.
-- Support effective and efficient business processes in partnership with other software and reporting development teams.
-- Identify ownership and accountability for enterprise reporting information.
-- Refine and validate logical data models that reflect concepts/structures in the EDW and serve as the basis for relational database design.
-- Ensure that information needs and business rules are in compliance with enterprise policies and standards.
-- Participate in evaluating new technologies to ensure the continuity and advancement of data and technology architecture within company information needs.
-- Build a framework for accurately capturing, sharing, distributing, securing, and leveraging company data resources.
-- Provide enterprise metadata repository services.

Minimum Technical Requirements:
-- 7+ years Information Technology experience.
-- 4+ years experience in as a Cognos Developer, preferably with Cognos 8.
-- Skilled using Cognos ReportNet, Framework Manager, as part of the Cognos Suite;
-- Strong background in structured systems and data analysis.
-- Demonstrated ability with JAD and RAD methodologies.
-- Expertise in relational database design (normalized and dimensional).

Required:
-- Strong ability to work with business units to formulate business and data requirements.
-- Ability to work with other database administrators to complete database designs and models.
-- Experience with data modeling tools such as ERwin, S-Designor, or equivalent.
-- Knowledge of Unix.
-- Highly motivated individual with very good analytical skills dedicated to completing tasks on schedule.

Desired:
-- Experience with other Business Intelligence software (Business Objects, MicroStrategies) applications.
-- Experienced working with Enterprise Integration project(s).
-- Skilled with one or more data modeling CASE tools (e.g., ERwin, SilverRun, LBMS, S-Designor).

Education:
-- BS or BA, desirable.
