Qualifications/Requirements:
Deep market knowledge of IT vendors and services
Minimum of 8 years experience in vendor relations, contract administration and/or asset management in a technology environment.
Solid technical background
Advanced Project Management skills
Project management methodology experience required in Vendor Management including management of third-party vendors and contract negotiation
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Business, Computer Science, a related field or equivalent technical training and experience.
Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) experience preferred
Any Purchasing/Procurement Certifications are also preferred.

The Help Desk Specialist position is the initial contact point for all end-users computer and technology support. Troubleshooting PC/Mac hardware, Notebook, PDA, Printer/Print Server, Microsoft Windows XP, Mac OS 9, Mac OS X, Internet browsers, Standard Microsoft software, Standard MAC software, and other in-house application problems is also required. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with both Macintosh OS X desktop and Windows XP software.

Updating of Help Desk Calls information into the Help Desk Ticket System and documentation of all user requests and problem resolutions is a key part of the job. In this role the Help Desk Specialist will also assist in installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading Windows XP PCs, Mac OS X (9.x and 10.1 through 10.5) workstations, and peripherals as well as providing network and server support as time allows.
Troubleshooting PC/Mac hardware, Notebook, PDA, Printer/Print Server, Microsoft Windows XP, Mac OS 9, Mac OS X, Internet browsers, Standard Microsoft software, Standard MAC software, and other in-house application problems is also required. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with both Macintosh OS X desktop and Windows XP software.

Main activities
Provide 1st Level system applications and computer hardware support
Update help desk ticket system as work orders are completed
Make hardware and software acquisition recommendations including helping users assess needs and providing justification for equipment and services
Install, configure and upgrade operating systems and software using standard business and administrative packages
Install, assemble and configure computers, monitors, network infrastructure and peripherals such as printers, scanners and related hardware; **Ability to lift at least 50 lbs is a requirement.**

Meticulous attention to detail with commitment to producing accurate and high-quality work
Knowledge of Microsoft Share point Services and HTML basic knowledge.
Advanced Excel and Access knowledge.
Basic .NET and Visual Basic programming skills
XML Programming Basic Knowledge
Knowledge of Data Mining and Data Warehousing Technologies

JOB DESCRIPTION
Procurement/Vendor Management will perform a combination of contract, performance and relationship management roles with vendors delivering IT hardware, software products and services. The focus will be on a set of vendors in multiple categories and align with the needs of the IT Product users, owners and ITS Service Catalog offerings.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Deep market knowledge of IT vendors and services
Minimum of 8 years experience in vendor relations, contract administration and/or asset management in a technology environment.
Solid technical background
Advanced Project Management skills
Project management methodology experience required in Vendor Management including management of third-party vendors and contract negotiation
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Business, Computer Science, a related field or equivalent technical training and experience.
Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) experience preferred
Any Purchasing/Procurement Certifications are also preferred.
