Our client is currently interviewing qualified candidates for a Senior Infrastructure Architect opportunity in North Dallas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding the business goals and objectives of our client’s organization and then translate those into architectural decisions for the organization. The Infrastructure Architect will have 10+ years of IT experience with 4 or more years of that being spent as Infrastructure Architect at the Enterprise level. The ideal candidate will be technical resource for any issues related to system integration, compatibility, scalability across our client’s multi platform operating environment. The Infrastructure Architect will also be responsible for collaborating with senior management on long term system strategies for current and future needs of our client organizational goals and objectives. This person will be responsible for the conceptual design of new systems, and establish architectural standards and processes for our client’s organization. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field. Candidates must also be familiar with 4 or more of the following technologies; IBM Mainframe, CISCO Networking, HP Storage Solutions, UNIX, Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft IIS, or Microsoft .NET 2.0.<br/><br/>All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be authorized to work in the United States. Experience: Responsibilities:
Understand goals and objective of differing business units, and understand the implications of infrastructure changes on each
Act as a senior resource for our clients business units on system strategy and long range implementation
Act as a senior resource for long and short term projects, changing priorities based on business need
Develop quality standards
Develop strategic vision for different business units in our clients organization
Guide departments on difficult system issues
Create and present business cases and ROI analysis to senior management
Develop and implement architecture for internal systems
