We have an immediate need for an UNIX Administrator
JOB DESCRIPTION
Leadership Skills: Server OS, HW & Network Protocol Problem Resolution, Ability to follow directions, Must be able to Read, Write and Speak English fluently and apply s\tandard processes to job tasks. Be innovative and have the ability to work independently. Must have initiative.
Experience in installing and trouble-shooting the installation of the clients "6-Pak" of tools is a major plus (Parity, SRM, VSA/Fusion, Service Portal, Remotely Anywhere, and Tivoli TEC)
UNIX - Solaris SME, Solaris 10, Redhat Linux SME. Additional skills in the following platforms - AIX, HPUX, IRIX
Work Shift: 1st shift
Weekend Coverage: Weekend coverage is required.
On Call: Does not need to be on-call
Years Experience: 5
Travel Required: Travel is required.
