Genesis10 is in need of a Business Intelligence (BI) Hyperion Developer on a full-time basis for a major client in North Richland Hills, Texas.

The BI Hyperion Developer will work with business partners and analysts to deliver reporting/analytic solutions; design and manage the BI tools and applications environments; configure BI tools, develop the semantic layer and metadata and create reports and report definitions; create and deliver end-user training and documentation and provide second-line support to power users who develop reports on behalf of their departmental colleagues.

Responsibilities:
- Deploy and tune BI tools and analytic servers, particularly Hyperion System 9 BI+ products.
- Troubleshoot BI Tool problems and tune for performance.
- Develop multidimensional semantic layer and BI query objects that enables ad-hoc analytics for end users.
- Create reports and report templates using Hyperion System 9 BI+ products.
- Help business users select the appropriate BI tool(s).
- Develop and document business-oriented definitions and other metadata.
- Develop and manage BI training, documentation and help desk capabilities.


Experience: Required Experience/Skills:
- 3+ years experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle).
- 3+ years experience in design and development of BI tools such as Hyperion Essbase and Interactive Reporting, MicroStrategy, Business Objects, etc.
- 3+ years experience in translating business needs into technical solutions.
- 3+ years experience with a data warehouse environment.
- Demonstrated understanding of the infrastructure needed to support enterprise reporting environments.
