DESCRIPTION

Individual should be comfortable with communicating and understanding the HACMP and SAN/NAS Team work environment.

Examples of the equipment type(s)/method(s) or processes are:


∙ Supporting HACMP software running on AIX operating system.

∙ Supporting DASD which includes SSA disks and SCSI RAID in a single node and shared between multiple nodes environment.

∙ Should be familiar with configuring the above DASD in RAID and non RAID configuration, configuration of volume group, logical volume and file system in a shared and non-shared environment.

∙ Individual will be configuring/troubleshooting all aspects of the HACMP software.

∙ Individual will also be configuring/troubleshooting the above DASD and analyzing DASD error reports.

∙ Individual needs TCP/IP networking skill to understand HACMP network requirements.

As a Team Manager you will be responsible for providing leadership and mentoring to your engineering team. Building, growing and improving your team will be a major key to success for you, your team and the organization.

In the role of Team Manager you will perform engineering design evaluations, provide recommendations to improve quality, develop a range of products and services, plan and drive projects around technology to implement these services.

In this role you will also be responsible for the overall quality of service provided by the engineering team. Your leadership will ensure that your team will successfully validate and/or design application architectures for service delivery. Expected Responsibilities

- Work closely with Development and QA organizations to ensure availability, capacity, configuration, governance, and release management standards are defined and implemented

Relevant Qualifications/Experience:

As a Team Manager you will be responsible for providing leadership and mentoring to your engineering team. Building, growing and improving your team will be a major key to success for you, your team and the organization.
