Presently, this client has a need for a System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM/SMS) Solutions Architect. Candidate will promote business effectiveness and efficiency while striving for innovation, flexibility, and integration. The SCCM Administrator/Architect will utilize the SCCM/SMS Architecture, framework, and techniques to continuously improve processes - the process to define, measure and improve their processes - creating a 'process optimization' process. In participating in this initiative, you will help the Desktop Engineering organization align to the customer the best suited staff and technologies to understand customer needs and must be empowered to make improvements. Key Objectives: -- Identify ownership and accountability for business processes and network infrastructure;-- Define and promote SCCM/SMS enterprise technology standards and strategies;-- Design and apply enterprise network solutions to meet business objectives;-- Provide architecture implementation support for technology projects; -- Support executive management and project teams in technology decisions and implementation of technology strategy;-- Ensure that information needs and business rules are in compliance with enterprise policies and standards;-- take ownership of the conversion plan to insure timely completion of tasks by all project groups.-- provide a deep level of insight into the SAP Modules and their relationships.Specific Duties:. Create a Product Road Map;. Implement and maintain Best Practices; . Maintain and improve SMS Infrastructure and SMS Lab; . Plan, test and upgrade SMS Infrastructure as necessary; . Capacity Planning for all components of the SMS Infrastructure;- Plan and monitor NW Traffic; Database Load; Disk space;- Site server load management; Distribution point load; . Maintain SMS Infrastructure environment;- DB Maintenance; Distribution points maintenance; Management points maintenance;- Disaster recovery;. Technical escalation point for issues related to SMS (Level 3); . Interface with other Service Delivery Areas; . Coordinate with Microsoft for SMS Product Support and Services; . Experience: Requirements:. Over ten years experience in an Information Technology implementations.. Over five years experience with SCCM/SMS administration and implementations.. Knowledgeable of the various SAP applications and modules, configurations, and master data dependencies.. Strong ability to work with business units to formulate business processes and requirements. . Experience in diverse system and application design in large heterogeneous enterprise environments.. Experience with relational database technology, SQL Programming. . Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication at all organizational levels.. Information Security experience a plus.. Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing timelines and expectations, and producing high-quality deliverables (documentation, presentations, research, etc.).. Highly motivated individual with very good analytical skills dedicated to completing tasks on schedule. Desired:. Comfortable working in both Unix and Microsoft environments.. Skills in designing and implementing multi-tiered network solutions.Education Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or Business Administration.
