organization in support of server implementation to include hardware and operating system
configuration, installation of applications, installation of supported vendor and IBM tool set, problem management resolution of issues and security compliance of systems for production readiness.
Special skill requirements: The candidate will provide 24 x 7 project support of the client.
Provide support of the infrastructure by performing administrative functions of the Windows (hardware and software) to include vendor supported tools, support standard tools and maintain servers in accordance to customer agreed upon security settings. Individual must posses an in-depth knowledge of multiple vendor hardware and versions of the operating system, be able to resolve complex issue, and experience in data center relocations. VMWARE Skill is a Must.
MCSE certification is desired.
Candidate will need to have strong communication skills both verbal and written and have the ability to work independently and in team environment, quickly adapted to defined process and procedures and quickly develop an in depth knowledge of the customer technical infrastructure.

DESCRIPTION A Project Manager is needed to join a business unit tasked with active Ethernet to the cell site (ETTC) projects spanning 4, 338 nodes. There are a total of nine current Project Managers in the team managing those volumes. For 2010, the company has a revised plan that will add approximately 7, 500 additional cell sites and mobile telephone switching office (MTSO) ports for Ethernet to the cell.These 2010 sites cannot successfully be manage by current staff. A trained PM can successfully manage a maximum of 400 active ETTC nodes before critical PM service level degradation occurs. Switched Ethernet service, OEM-AC and Internet Protocol AGgregation (IPAG) platforms, new technology deployment, new processes, and system introductions require the dedicated support of Project Managers that can work across network and operations functional teams to ensure customer deliverables are met.This Project Manager, for client driven infrastructure projects, will develop precise project plans and must ensure the communication and delivery of design criteria and critical milestone dates.
