Strong technical working knowledge and hands-on experience at medium to large corporate environments, including:
Strong hands-on technical experience and security management with Server virtualization, consolidation, rationalization design and architect technical experience AD, PKI & Group Policy
This is a leadership role. Experience leading people is necessary.
Document standard operating procedure for management and use of the directory services environment including AD Restoration procedure
AD Proactive maintenance using enterprise monitoring tools
Excellent knowledge of server hardware (IBM/HP) drivers, and protocols
Ability to be accessible and available for on call responsibility and support

Design and architecting technical solutions, enhancements, and proposal upgrades recommendation

Plan and lead project installations
ISA server experience a plus
Education:
MIS, CS or Engineering Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, CS, or Engineering and/or equivalent 7 years experience; MCSE or MCSA and/or VMWARE Certification preferred

A downtown Dallas law firm is looking for an ASSITANT MANAGER of INFORMATION SYSTEMS. Candidate must have 2+ years managing IT operations preferably in professional environment. This individual is charged with the stability of the Dallas network operating systems and the hardware on which it is based. Responsibilities include but not limited to:Support and assist the Dallas Information Systems Manager with his/her duties including direct supervision of the Dallas Office Desk side support team in the absence of the IS manager. .Implement and enforce local office IS policy and procedures in coordination with the Dallas IS manager, the local office administrators and Firm wide IS organization .Install, maintain, and perform updates on end-user or section specific applications for Dallas based users in accordance with Firm wide and local office policies / procedures. .Maintain the Dallas office phone switch including switch and voicemail backups weekly. .Ensure the operational readiness, performance, and availability of all local Office servers, switches, routers, and hubs plus a few FW servers that still exist in the Dallas office. .Produce written documentation for local LAN, various projects, software installs, and technology assigned. .Maintain LAN infrastructure devices. .Day-to-day administration of NT, Win2000, Win2003, and various LAN /WAN routers.
