Desktop Support w/2+ yrs software, hardware, & network exp. in Dallas, TX

Our client is seeking a Desktop Support Representative to provide technical support associated with the identification, prioritization, and resolution of reported problems. Must be able to recognize, research, isolate, and then present a resolution to the reported problems. Must also have good follow-up abilities. The Desktop Support Representative will also be performing general maintenance tasks, software and hardware installs (remote or hands on), must have Network knowledge (but not limited to network only), be able to and must resolve more complex problems immediately. POS (Point of Sale) knowledge (not required, but preferred), may also involve use of problem management databases and help desk system.<br/><br/>All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be authorized to work in the United States. Experience: The Desktop Support Representative must have 2+ years of desktop support experience. The Desktop Support Representative should be familiar with loading and configuring new machines and provide network connectivity support, trouble shooting software and hardware issues.
