Genesis10 is seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Hyperion Developer for a major client in North Richland Hills, Texas on a 3 month contract basis. In this role, you will work with business partners and analysts to deliver reporting/analytic solutions using BI tools, particularly Hyperion System 9 BI+.

Responsibilities:
- Design and manage the BI tools and applications environments, particularly Hyperion System 9 BI+ tools.
- Configure BI tools, develops the semantic layer and metadata, and creates reports and report definitions.
- Create and deliver end-user training and documentation and provided second-line support to power users who develop reports on behalf of their departmental colleagues.
Experience: Required Experience/Skills:
- 3+ years experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle).
- 3+ years experience in design and development of BI tools such as Hyperion Essbase and Interactive Reporting, Micro Strategy, Business Objects, etc.
- 3+ years experience in translating business needs into technical solutions.
- 3+ years experience with a data warehouse environment.
- Demonstrated understanding of the infrastructure needed to support enterprise reporting environments.
- Experienced with system and desktop tools - Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Project, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field or 5-7 years equivalent experience.
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- 3+ years experience in software development or software design preferred.
- 3+ years experience with OLAP data sources and reporting and an understanding of Business Intelligence methodologies preferred.
