Sr. UNIX/Storage Manager
Direct Hire

Will Manage a Team of 3-4 System Administrators acting as a Technical Manager and will have the ability to coach, mentor, set examples, develope goals, execute performance reviews and manage budgets.
Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
Manage Enterprise Storage Systems and SAN/NAS switching equipment (McData'Broadcom)
Help the team with the administration of AIX/Linux systems.
Help with the Integration of Legato Networker backup infrastructure to SAN/NAS storage
Assist with design and deployment of Business Continuity related processes and procedures, including detailed documentation and periodic full DR testing
Provide On Call coverage for SAN/NAS and other UNIX/Storage related issues
Provide architecture, planning and implementation of SAN replication technology as required.
Manage data replication between a production and DR site at different locations using SRDF
Analyze and resolve hardware, software and firmware issues
Support a 24 X 7 operation, and carry a cell phone for on-call availability
Perform capacity planning and metrics reporting for the storage infrastructure
Mentoring others
Experience with:
EMC Storage Systems, SAN Switch technology and NetApp a must.
EMC Control Center.
EMC SRDF
EMC Solutions Enabler and Configuration Manager (SYMCLI) commands.
Navisphere Manager.
PowerPath installation and configuration expertise
Symmetrix DMX series
UNIX/Linux/AIX server administration
Design, deployment and support of large SAN/NAS arrays
Qlogic and Emulex HBA cards, HBA Drivers, HBA and Switch Firmware.
Shell/Pearl scripting
cluster solutions and application servers
volume management and file systems experience a plus.
Knowledge of Legato Networker backup/recovery software a plus
Resolve server/storage related issues.
Education Requirements:
BS degree in any technical field
