Robert Half has partnered with a Downtown Dallas multi-billion dollar wholesale and distribution company to recruit a Hyperion Systems Administrator. This position will be responsible for full administration and development tasks for Hyperion Essbase, Planning, BI+ Workspace and Financial Reporting; will be responsible for all systems tasks related to internal financial reporting, annual planning and quarterly forecasting activities; will lead corporate financial analyst staff in financial analysis and field operations support; and will act as liaison between finance and IT department in data warehouse and reporting initiatives; will operate Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Planning and other Hyperion reporting systems, including weekly, bi-weekly and monthly updates; will support Hyperion user base as help requests are logged; will coordinate Hyperion and BI system security with IT system administrators per Sarbanes Oxley controls; will provide ongoing training for finance staff on Hyperion tools; and will support business intelligence, planning and reporting initiatives by developing OLAP data cubes, ETL processes, reporting content and distribution methods.
Experience: Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and minimum of one to two years related experience and/or training. Advanced computer skills required. Hyperion Essbase Certified Developer preferred. Three + years experience in Hyperion Essbase administrator role. Expert level MS Excel and Access, including ability to write Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) code in Excel and Access. Working knowledge of SQL Server, IBM DB2 and ETL tools preferred.
