POSITION SUMMARY
The Regional Technology Manager ( RTM ) supports the business practices of the firm by delivering reliable, high quality computer products, services and support in the region.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Manage the IT needs of the offices within the region while meeting service level guarantees as established by Senior IT management and the individual offices' Managing Partners.
-Deliver high quality IT services to the region's user community, which include on site and off site employees and partners.
-Maintain a high degree of standardization between the technologies of the offices and the standards established by the Director of Technology Support.
-Monitor methods to reduce direct costs of IT, to increase service efficiencies and to improve the delivery of professional services to the firm's customers through creative use of technology.
-Make process improvement recommendations to the Director of Technology Support.
-Monitor the service levels in the assigned offices and monitor the IT support in the assigned offices to effectively maintain a high degree of customer satisfaction.
-Communicate effectively and consistently with the Firm's other Regional RTM's to ensure the highest degree of IT consistency from region to region.
-Manage IT Support Staff and Regional Technology Administrator within the Southern Region. Identify areas of performance improvement, training needs and development needs.
-Manage assigned projects throughout the year.
-Act as liaison between IT and key management within the firm.
-Monitor and manage regional budgets.
-Participate and contribute to the business objectives and people objectives within the RTM organization.
-Differentiate and act when necessary to escalate issues that impact the stability and performance of the team and service levels.
-Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict confidentiality in matters that require discretion.
-Attend professional development and training sessions on a regular basis.
-Perform other job-related duties as necessary. Experience: QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
-Bachelors degree in IT or related field.
-3-5 years of highly successful and highly skilled IT Management experience within a mid to large-sized corporate IT operations environment. Experience in a professional services firm a plus.
-Experience managing staff and IT operations remotely. Must be able to identify when on-site visits are required.
-Demonstrated success with business and technology planning.
-Experience communicating and delivering the IT vision, strategy and service guarantee across an assigned region.
-Experience in negotiating win/win situations between IT staff and management, and end-users to include employees and all levels of management.
-Experience in building trust between local Office Management and the IT organization.
-Experience with MS Power Point, Visio and MS Project a plus.
-Proven enterprise project management skills.
-Solid grasp of successful IT processes and procedures.
-Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
-Ability to be a team player and work well in a National IT team.
-Ability to travel to local offices sometimes on short notice.
-Reports directly to Director of Technology Support.
