May perform one or more of the following: Responsibilities Participates in and supports capacity planning and the development of long-term strategic goals for systems and software in conjunction with end-users and department managers Experience with SCCM rollouts, Application deployment, Application Packaging. Knowledge of some type of System management tool. Experience with UNIX/Linux server OS and Applications. Ensures the integrity and security of enterprise data on host computers associated with support applications. Manage multiple databases in accordance to business needs and industry best practices regarding privacy, security and regulatory compliance Anticipates, mitigates, identifies, troubleshoots, resolves and escalates as appropriatehardware and software problems on servers, input/output fleet and workstations Analyzes system, server, application, network and input/output device performance Recommends, schedules and performs software and hardware improvements, upgrades, patches, reconfigurations and/or purchases Conducts research on emerging products, services, protocols and standards in support of systems software procurement and development efforts Creates required reports in response to business user needs Develops, documents and maintains policies, procedures and associated training plans for system administration and appropriate use Assists in plan, design and implement virtual computing systems, including configurations, and support/troubleshoot problems Manages environmental cost savings initiatives using technology to reduce resource consumption. Technical business develop activities related to the above service solutions. Travels (40%)to customer sites for pursuit activities and implementation exercises. Responsible for evolving go-to-market solution to internal and external customers.
