No 3rd parties please.Senior .net Developer We are seeking an experienced senior vb.net developer to work on the design, development, implementation and maintenance of internal technical solutions and websites/portals. You will be responsible for the structured specification of IT solutions, including interaction with business users to define requirements, and development of functional and technical specifications. You will be expected to challenge and refine business and technical ideas and requirements and propose appropriate solutions. You will be responsible for all elements of the development process from design to implementation, along with structured testing of all implementations in conjunction with best practices and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. You must be a self-starter, technically strong in .NET framework, and best practices while displaying solid leadership skills. You will be responsible for providing detailed and accurate time estimates, assisting the technical team with workload planning and tracking team accomplishments, along with organizing, prioritizing and implementing your personal workload. RESPONSIBILITIES Work with business users and internal stakeholders to develop functional and technical designs based on user needs Provide technology insights and creative ideas for solving business problems Design, code and test .net solutions based on user articulated requirements Facilitate user testing and final delivery for all developed solutions Maintain on-going production ownership for all solutions, including Websites Provide leadership to the technical team Develop applications that interface into and out of Mi9 s merchandising system Manage and prioritize own workload and workload of team, taking into account overall goals Provide high level and detail documentation of solutions REQUIREMENTS Demonstrable track record in the analysis and design of Web applications in ASP.NET using vb.net Strong software development skills in the following languages: ASP, VB6, ASP.NET, VB.NET, AJAX, MS SQL and Oracle PL/SQL HTML, CSS, Javascript Minimum 4 years experience with the following tools: Visual Studio .NET 2005 onwards, MS SQL 2005 onwards Hands on experience using the various development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, UML) and how to apply them appropriately Full SDLC experience Good analysis and design skills, yet practical enough to get the job done Focus on teamwork with ability to collaborate with business and technical staff 2 years experience leading small technical teams Ability to effectively communicate simple to complex technical ideas, processes and procedures to a variety of audience levels Self-starter with strong leadership and management skills Experience developing and maintaining externally-focused Websites (B2B) Must be able to perform under tight timeframes and execute problem-solving skills Very good verbal and written communication skills DESIRED Retail industry experience FoxPro knowledge desirable To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
