We are searching for a SAN expert! Client is looking to improve the performance of their LUN. They need assistance multi-pathing the LUN back to their NetAPP Filer System.
The storage system is a NetApp Filer system 3050. This is used for all file shares, and LUNS connected to various servers. There are two types of LUN connections from this NetApp filer: 1. ISCI , 2. FIBER The Sun Solaris server (SunFire 890) that has a Fiber Connected LUN on the NetApp Filer via Fiber Switch. On the Sun Server, the fibers are connected with HBA Switch. The LUN Size is about 8 Terabytes.
