DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Creating/monitoring support desk rules; maintaining package servers with software deployment tools; maintain patch levels on workstations; handle requests from support desk, network, server, and apps development team; create reports with Altiris Wizard or SQL queries; Maintaining Altiris Deployment and Notification Server components; creating/maintaining PC desktop/laptop images and image deployment strategies; assist with developing long-term strategies and capacity planning regarding future hardware needs; and writing technical specifications related to purchase of hardware products.
Experience: REQUIRED SKILLS:-5+yrs. IT experience-2+yrs. Administration of Altiris Notification Server 6, Altiris Deployment Server 6 and Altiris Helpdesk 6-SQL, VBScript, WMI experience-Solid PC/Desktop Experience-1yr.
