Computer Forensics - Associate - Up To $94,000 in Dallas, TX

POSITION: Associate of Computer ForensicsEMPLOYER: Global Professional Services' CompanyLOCATION: Dallas, TXPRACTICE: Forensic Technology Services with an emphasis on computer forensics, electronic discovery and data mining.CLIENTS SERVED: Fortune 1000, Federal/State Government Agencies and Major Law FirmsJOB DESCRIPTION: As an Associate you will be tasked with, and responsible for, providing computer forensic and data mining services as they relate to civil and criminal investigations, litigation and dispute analysis. It will be your mission and responsibility, in conjunction with other forensic professionals, to recover case critical data and email files utilizing cutting-edge investigative tools, applications, methodologies and techniques. Once collected, the electronically stored information and data must be processed, sorted, preserved, analyzed and interpreted-quickly and accurately. Upon the successful completion of same, the results and conclusions will be documented for presentation and dissemination purposes as part of the legal review process for both litigation based and non-litigation based dispute resolution. Specific duties, tasks and roles for which you will be responsible include: (1) contributing to the assessment of project depth and scope; (2) assisting in the development of project plans; (3) utilizing structured chain of custody methods and forensic toolsets to accurately image, analyze and report the results of electronic information and transactional data findings; (4) utilizing Electronic Data Discovery (EDD) toolsets and SQL Server to create, manage, query representative data sets for anomalies, target information and assure data quality control; (5) ensuring that projects are completed on time while maintaining the highest quality standards; (6) communicating progress updates and project status on a regular and timely basis to all levels of engagement management; and (7) contributing to the preparation of expert reports.
Experience: QUALIFICATIONS: Associate candidates should be motivated, detail oriented, organized and willing to take ownership of project-critical tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. Moreover, you must be able to adapt to changing circumstances, fact sets and project variables, while, simultaneously, applying your expertise to the full eDiscovery lifecycle process in order to add value and contribute to the timely success of tasks/projects/engagements. This position also requires that candidates demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to analyze complex data sets and information-based variables. With regard to forensic tools and applications, candidates are required to have experience with one or more of the following: EnCase, Forensic Toolkit (FTK), NexisLexis Law, Concordance, Catalyst and/or other related applications. In addition to the foregoing, candidates must have extensive experience with one or more of the following relational database languages: Microsoft SQL Server Oracle, SQL, SQL+, SQR and/or PL/SQL.EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 2-years of relevant work experience with the most qualified candidates possessing Big 4 consulting or other major consultancy experience. EDUCATION: Bachelor in Computer Science (or other technical degree), Associate in Computer Science (or other technical discipline) or degree-equivalent forensic trainingTRAVEL: 60%-80%; primarily domestic with the potential for international team assignments. COMPENSATION: Up to $94,000 per year... including a base salary of $50,000-$63,000 combined with an industry leading compensation package that affords a realistic opportunity to earn up to 50% of salary in a utilization-based, formula-driven annual bonus.
