REMOTE WORK OPPORTUNITY - SOME TRAVEL REQUIRED Primary Function: · Work with the Application Portfolio Management team to develop and manage the long term applications strategy. · Assist in developing and communicating messaging to clients, analysts, and third party advisors regarding the applications strategy. · Work with the team in application related acquisitions relative to the application strategy. · Work collaboratively with the assigned sales and delivery representative(s) to prepare individualized winning application management solutions for clients/prospects. · Apply expert judgment in analyzing, extracting and interpreting design requirements from the customer such that application solutions are consistently creative, client-focused, cost effective, and competitive. · Collaborate with finance to develop cost models that are balanced with corporate guidance relative to technology and financial performance requirements. · Orchestrate efficient collection and organization of information regarding prospect's technical, operational and applications environment to support solution design. · Provide leadership throughout the architecting process resulting in solutions that are innovative, foster customer intimacy, provide operational excellence, and that are cost effective. · Orchestrate resolution of complex issues related to solution design, service levels, and pricing. · Assist proposal development colleagues in drafting technical text regarding the solution. · Assist the sales team with presenting solutions to prospects and clients. · Act as subject matter expert to assist in the performance of special assignments and projects in support of ACS’ strategic planning efforts. Ensure that applicable service/operating procedures and practices are in compliance with industry standards and relevant regulations/laws. · Ensure that vendor contracts/services are adhered to and identify/address issues as needed. · Develop and monitor the status of solution/program schedules to ensure the effective use of resources associated with the contract, program, or project. · Exercise working supervision over subordinate/project staff supporting applicable solution/program. · Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously. Perform all other duties as assigned. Knowledge and Skills: · Intimate knowledge of, and experience with, all aspects of the product life cycle from procurement through installation, implementation, integration, training/education, business process redesign, clinical transformation, support, and maintenance (break/fix, troubleshooting, release management, upgrades, system enhancement/optimization, development). · Experience with custom applications including requirements definition, prototyping, development, testing and roll-out. · Experience with strategic and tactical planning, technology evaluation, and system selection. · Experience with application hosting. · Broad expertise or unique knowledge and the ability to use these skills to contribute to development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways. · Ability to work on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles. · Ability to exercise independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. · Client-facing skills and experience. · Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external personnel/clients, both verbally and in writing. · Strong organizational, operational, team building, interpersonal, client relationship, and technical leadership skills. · Ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all levels of staff within and outside the Company. · Ability to travel. Education and Typical Years of Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent of 10+ years of related experience.
