Intel System Administrator (25123) in Dallas, TX

Dell Perot Systems is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for an Intel Systems Administrator to join our team in Dallas, TX.

Job Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include day-to-day support and participation in any related projects by providing technical insight and hands on support. This individual will need to relate technical issues and requirements to non-technical associates and customers, and be able to operate independently in the absence of strict guidance to correct issues and improve the environment. They need to be flexible in accommodating customer requirements and possess a drive to provide a high level of customer service. Will be required to participate within an on-call schedule and is expected to support incidents occurring on nights and weekends
Provide Enterprise Server Administration within a NT, 2000, 2003, and 2008 environment.
Analyze and implement OS patches and hot fixes as well as other OS configurations and updates.

Required Skills:
1-3 years of Enterprise Windows NT/2000/2003/2008 Server Operating Systems.
Previous customer facing experience/interface.
1-3 years of Microsoft Exchange support experience.
Microsoft Active Directory 2000/2003/2008
Networking (TCP/IP, WINS, DNS, DHCP)
Working knowledge of server hardware, cabling, and datacenter infrastructure.
Support experience to include: technical (issue/resolution) documentation, hardware troubleshooting and maintenance, and researching solutions.

Desired Skills:
Experience with Exchange, HP hardware, Dell hardware.
Experience with Blackberry Enterprise Server
Citrix
WSUS
Enterprise Vault
Windows desktop deployment and imaging experience
Symantec Backup exec
Blade Server
Virtualization technology (MS Virtual Server/Hyper-V)
HBAs and SAN technology

Minimum Educational Requirements:
Bachelors or equivalent work experience.

Minimum Certifications or Other Professional Credentials:
MCSA
