General knowledge of service contracts, reporting, and Service Level Agreements as related to backups.
Requires at least 5-7 years experience in Storage Management with technical knowledge in the following:
IBM Tivoli Storage Manager or Symantec NetBackup
Symantec BackupExec or HP Data Protector experience a plus
Working understanding of the UNIX, AIX and/or SUN specific experience a plus
Basic knowledge of networking technologies.
Storage networking technologies related to Storage Area Networks, to include fibre channel.
Knowledge of IBM and SUN/STK Tape Library technologies
Knowledge of HP-UX, AIX, Solaris, Windows 2000, Windows Server 2003, and Linux operating systems is desired.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and VISIO
