Corporate Help Desk Specialist in Dallas, TX

Robert Half Technology, the world's leader in technology staffing, is currently seeking a Corporate Help Desk Analyst for an immediate opening. This is a contract to hire role with a Fortune 500 company in Downtown Dallas. In this role, the candidate will identify, prioritize, and find resolutions to reported problems. Ensure that all phases of help desk support are properly coordinated, monitored, logged, tracked and resolved appropriately. This person may be responsible for one or more of the following: Answer incoming calls. Provide technical support via the telephone in a professional and courteous manner to all end users contacting the Corporate IT Help Desk. Analyze root cause to implement solutions that will reduce cost and time associated with support. The ideal candidate will have a corporate help desk background and must have experience supporting Outlook, ie.calendars, undeliverable messages, mailbox full messages, archiving, etc., as well as the other Office Suite products (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access), and Blackberry/PDA Support

Experience: Minimum Requirements include: Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification required, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) preferred. 2+ years of Help Desk experience and a thorough understanding of good customer service and business objectives.
