Our Dallas client is looking for a .Net developer with the following qualifications:
Required Qualifications
. 5+ years experience architecting and developing with object-oriented and component-oriented technologies such as .NET, COM, Java and EJB
. Experience with modern distributed application architectures and concepts including web services, message queuing, workflow and rules.
. Experience designing, estimating and leading software development projects.
. 3+ years of hands-on .NET development and leadership, with C# preferred.
. 3+ years of relational database experience and ADO.NET.
. Excellent communications, both written and verbal.
. Self motivated, self starter.
. Proven leadership capabilities
Desired Qualifications
. Demonstrated production experience with both ASP.NET and Windows Forms.
. Experience with BizTalk, InRule or other workflow or rules engines.
. Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or 2005.
. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Service or Crystal Reports.
. Production experience with XML, XSLT, XSD and SOAP
Description of Responsibilities
. Help setup a successful development environment for an existing small team of experienced .NET developers.
. Define and lead the team of developers in an appropriate software development methodology (e.g., MSF, SCRUM, RUP, TDD or other suitable SDLC).
. Lead in the migration of a core business application from Microsoft Access to a Microsoft .NET 2.0 distributed application.
. Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, project management, and analysts to ensure the successful completion of projects.
. Provide technical leadership for a team of developers.
