Responsible for supervising a transactional operation consisting of one to three shifts that provide service and support functions to one or more tasks, projects, contracts, or division. Analyzes operational workflow to ensure quality, quantity, and efficiency standards are met or exceeded. Interacts with customers on a regular basis to determine needs or problems and provide appropriate, feasible solutions. An exempt supervisory position requiring extensive knowledge of technical, communication, and management skills and abilities. The Transaction Processing Supervisor serves as a primary contact for problem resolution and information gathering regarding work assignments. Incumbent oversees the daily workflow of a multi-shift data processing operation. Tasks are highly complex in value. Works under general supervision and has functional responsibility for one or more specific areas, projects, contracts, or divisions. Errors cause substantial delay, expense, and/or disruption.
REPRESENTATIVE PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervises the daily operations of a multi-shift data entry operation.
Actively participates in hiring, developing, and reviewing employees and their performance.
Analyzes workflow and assignments to ensure operations run efficiently.
Assists and advises staff members in resolving problems and issues that arise with internal and external customers.
