Position Overview
****Based on the extensive travel associated with this position, the ideal candidate may telecommute from anywhere in the U.S.*****
Department Description: Providing delivery, training and configuration of Asset Management COTS packages to include Cityworks and DataStream to municipal governments.
Providing delivery, training and configuration of the off-the-shelf Customer Service Request (CSR) software suite of products, a CRM tool for municipal governments
Required Skills/Experience
Basic Qualifications: A bachelors degree or higher from an accredited college or university
Experience working with SQL and/or other relational databases
Must able to travel 75% of the time
The applicant must have experience implementing COTS asset management systems (experience with DataStream and or Cityworks or similar product)
Specific Knowledge/Skills The applicant must have experience implementing COTS asset management systems, experience with DataStream and or Cityworks is a plus.
Experience working with City, State and or Airport infrastructure. Requires knowledge of public sector infrastructure and processes.
Experience in business process analysis and business process re-engineering;
Successful experience in Customer relations, must be customer friendly;
Ability to think and act independently and make good decisions that impact the success of the project;
Ability to design and implement new business processes based on customer current/future needs;
Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) experience with SQL server or Oracle based applications is required. This includes how to navigate a database, how to read and understand an ERD and Data Dictionary. How to identify primary and foreign keys. How to quickly identify how data relates between different tables;
Familiarity with various software tools including current MS Windows OS, MS Office Suite, Oracle Development Tools, T.O.A.D, and Sql*Plus is desirable;
Experience with and understanding of logical and physical entity relationship (ER) diagrams;
Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 2 years of experience in the field or at least 5 years of related experience;
Ability to plan and accomplish goals;
Command of English in listening, speaking and writing.
