Human Resources The HR group of a $10 billion plus hedge fund is looking to fill a position that will be primarily responsible for executing special projects to make the firm more efficient and effective. Reporting to the firm’s Head of Human Resources, the Human Capital Specialist will be primarily responsible for conducting research, and providing support on special projects. The ideal candidate will possess a high attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and be a self-starter. The position will be based in the firm’s Dallas headquarters. The Human Capital Specialist will have the opportunity to learn about the hedge fund industry while working on interesting, diverse projects. Responsibilities - Project Management – ability to lead projects from initiative to closure, define milestones, meet deadlines, update action plans, communicate open issues, and escalate when necessary. - Preparation of presentations and reports - Research Qualifications - 4-year undergraduate degree required with minimum 3.5 GPA - Intermediate MS Excel, PowerPoint skills - 1-2 years work experience a plus - Past experience in consulting and process improvement a plus Desirable Traits - High attention to detail; must be conscientious of work product - Strong analytical and interpersonal skills - High degree of intelligence - Self-starter: takes initiative, can work autonomously - Strong written and oral communication skills - Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment - Capability to simultaneously manage a diverse array of projects - Experience working with deadlines - Strategic thinker with the ability to turn strategy into action plans - Strong organizational and coordination skills Please email your resume to or you can call Chris Willhite at 972-789-9590.
