C#.NET Developer in Dallas, TX

One of our clients is currently migrating to .NET platforms. Therefore, they are seeking a Senior .NET Developer who will assist in extending and maintaining the existing code base for the business logic and data access layers. The C#.NET Developer needs to be familiar with VB6 for the existing maintenance but new development is in .Net with C#. This will consist of writing and maintaining stored procedures for SQL Server. In addition, the C#.NET Developer will assist in the migration of the code base to the .NET platform. The individual will also assist in developing additional web functionality utilizing ASP.NET. The C#.NET Developer position also entails working with other developers and actively participating in the design process. The C#.NET Developer will also develop reports using Crystal Reports. Furthermore, working with end-users to improve the VIA program is included. <br/><br/>All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be authorized to work in the United States. Experience: The C#.NET Developer needs to be familiar with VB6 for the maintenance, although new development is being produced in C# and .Net. SQL Server experience is not mandatory but is a plus. All interested C#.NET Developers must possess excellent communication skills. A Bachelor's Degree in CIS, CE, CS, BIS, Engineering or equivalent field is a must. 3 + years .NET experience or more in needed. Extensive knowledge of SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Windows NT, 2000, and 2003 domain networks is essential. Experience programming in .NET is needed, in addition to C# or VB.NET experience.
