Brio Reports Developer in Dallas, TX

The client is recognized as a leader in the Dallas Fort Worth area! This client has a need for an experience analyst with Brio (Hyperion) experience who want to move into an information technology business intelligence analyst. You will be trained to design and build Business Intelligence reports utilizing your existing business experience and knowledge. As a Brio Developer, you will learn Hyperion Enterprise Metrics and ROLAP; next you will be responsible for the analysis, design, and development of the Business Intelligence environment and database structures for a large-scale Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).

Role:
This position is responsible for the planning, development, analysis, and implementation of procedures and/or processes to design a sequence of steps for processing data by a software. You will gain knowledge of programming techniques and computer systems to evaluate requests for new or modified programs, systems, or databases to determine feasibility, resource requirements, compatibility with current systems, and computer capabilities. You may plan or direct the modification of programs to process data and solve data, database, system, or report problems.

Key Objectives:
-- Identify ownership and accountability for enterprise reporting information.
-- Ensure that information needs and business rules are in compliance with enterprise policies and standards.
-- Build a framework for accurately capturing, sharing, distributing, securing, and leveraging company data resources.
-- Provide enterprise metadata repository services.

Job Requirements:
1) Four years of reporting experience working in a SQL database environment.
2) Two years experience with relational database technology, SQL Programming.
3) Two years of experience in a job requiring data analysis.
4) Experience with SQL, relational database systems tools.

Required:
-- Strong ability to work with business units to formulate business and data requirements.
-- Ability to work with other database administrators to complete database designs and models.
-- Experience with data modeling tools such as ERwin, S-Designor, or equivalent.
-- Knowledge of Unix.
-- Highly motivated individual with very good analytical skills dedicated to completing tasks on schedule.
-- Experience with other Business Intelligence software (SAS, Cognos, Business Objects, MicroStrategies) applications.

Education:
-- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or Science with a concentration in Computer Science or related discipline.
